little faerie, fly free

"If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem a part of it."

when i finished "Wuthering Heights", i dress this. it is supposed to be Catherine, the younger, but the face turned out to be so horrid. i do like the rest of it though, so here it is. i imagined Catherine as a very beautiful young woman, with all sorts of pretty dresses. i want to make another one, with a face to match my imagination, but for now...

as a new decade begins,

before i start anything, i would like to say, HAPPY NEW YEARS! 2010 has arrived, and while i hope '09 was a wonderful year for everyone, i wish 2010 to be even more marvelous. its a new decade, and lets make it a great one!

as we woke up from a long night, my friends and i decided to watch a french movie called "La Belle Personne". i have to say that i enjoyed it very much. yes, it was sad. but life isn't always flowery and pretty and easy. i loved how they really focused on faces and expressions.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS DEARIES :)

i loved this christmas. it was very calm, quiet, and lovely. our christmas tree is just magnificent with all of its ornaments and twinkly lights. and gingerbread cookies are just so yummy! being together with family makes me smile. and to top of the great night, we watched "A Christmas Story". Oh, it is so cute!

and nothing beats the "greatest award": the leg lamp! oh, the best!

and i got the mamiya C330 for christmas, and i am so thrilled for it to arrive! i can't wait to test it out!

never underestimate disposable cameras!

aah.

i've always wanted to have a window seat. it would be amazing. and through every season to be able to look out of the window and see what's changing.
in the fall you see all the leaves turning into the magnificent hues of orange and brown, and watch them fall down, and see children playing around in the piles of leaves, throwing them around.
in the winter, there would be a lovely blanket of white covering everything. the trees with no leaves will be tinted white. and at night, you'd look up to the sky, and see the twinkling stars, and then look down and see the mounds of snow sparkle in the moonlight. it'd be so cold, you'd want to drink a cup of peppermint tea.
in the spring, you'd see the grass turn green and the flowers regain there multicolored petals.
and in the summer, the sun would shine so bright, you'd want to drink a fruit smoothie.

if only the seasons would change like that in california.
